New York Mayor Edward I. Koch may go Hollywood and film a home video to promote his next book. Koch said he and Cardinal John O’Connor, archbishop of the New York diocese, will co-write “His Eminence and Hizzoner,” a book composed of alternating chapters in which each argues his views on abortion, child care, gay rights and other issues. Plans are to shoot the Jewish mayor and the Catholic prelate re-creating the book’s discussions, videotapes of which might be sold with the book. Royalties will be shared by Catholic charities and New York City.
