Actor Michael Douglas has given away his pet cat, a 2-year-old serval named Sangral. A serval is an African feline with a body like a cheetah and spots like a leopard. He was, said Douglas’ assistant, Peter de Palma, “just a great cat,” but getting too big to remain at the actor’s Montecito home. Douglas turned Sangral over to the Charles Paddock Zoo in Atascadero. He also gave the zoo $2,000 to build a cage.
