Two University of Tennessee basketball players remained hospitalized after an automobile accident that also sent at least four others to the hospital.
Junior forward Dyron Nix, Southeastern Conference rebound leader, had cuts and bruises after the Sunday accident and was in good condition at the University of Tennessee Memorial Research Center.
Also injured was Carla McGhee, a sophomore center for the Tennessee women’s team, who underwent oral surgery for a fractured jaw and cheek.
