Reagan Sees Soviet Influence
In response to the article about school principals rebuking some journalists who yelled questions to the President, (Part I, Oct. 6):
If Reagan held regularly scheduled press conferences to keep the American people informed (as Presidents Kennedy and Johnson did), the press corps would have opportunities to ask our President pertinent questions. But since he does not, the journalists must take advantage of the very few times that they do see him to ask questions. They are just doing their jobs.
