SDSU’s Peterson to Undergo Knee Surgery
SAN DIEGO —
Randy Peterson, a San Diego State reserve wide receiver, will undergo arthroscopic surgery today to repair cartilage damage to his right knee, said John Rosenthal, SDSU sports information director.
Peterson, a junior transfer from Santa Monica City College, was injured two weeks ago in the Aztecs’ game against Wyoming. Rosenthal said it is hoped that Peterson can return for a Nov. 14 game against Colorado State.
Peterson has 11 catches for 165 yards and one touchdown.
