2 Killed, 2 Wounded in Shooting
A man and woman were shot to death and two other people were wounded about 10:30 p.m. Thursday after an argument in a Spring Valley apartment.
The gunman ran from the apartment, shooting one of the victims while the man was chasing him.
A suspect was in custody, but authorities had establish no motive. The man’s name was not released.
Neighbor Dorothy SanNicolas, 15, said she heard “seven or eight gunshots and a few seconds later my neighbor came knocking at my door and asked me to call 911.”
She said the neighbor had been shot three or four times “in the rib area.”
The apartment complex is in the 8900 block of Delrose Avenue, near Elkelton Boulevard.
One of the wounded was taken by Life Flight helicopter to Sharp Memorial Hospital. The other was taken to Mercy Hospital by ambulance. No information on their condition or identities was available Thursday night.
