TV ratings for the third and final Sunday of National Football League strike replacement games were generally higher than they were the previous Sunday.

NBC averaged overnight Nielsen ratings of 12.1 and 12.9 in the nation’s 15 largest markets for an NFL doubleheader, an increase of about 25% over NBC’s NFL ratings the previous Sunday, and CBS averaged 12.1 for a single telecast in the same markets, an increase of 8%.

In Los Angeles, the Ram-Atlanta Falcon game on CBS drew a 15.7 rating, while Denver-Kansas City drew a 10.0. Football ratings in Los Angeles the previous Sunday were 11.7 for Miami-Kansas City on NBC and 5.9 for Washington-New York Giants on NBC. Two weeks ago, the first Sunday of strike games, the Rams and New Orleans, drew a 14.1 in Los Angeles.
