U.S. Tests New Missile for Fighter Jet Combat

WASHINGTON —
The Air Force has announced two successful tests of its AMRAAM dogfighting missile last week, both involving the weapon’s ability to discriminate among targets. The new medium-range, air-to-air missiles were fired at “enemy” and “friendly” jet-powered drones.
