Silvercrest Posts Best 1st Quarter in 10 Years

Silvercrest Industries said it posted its best first-quarter results in a decade, as net income for the period reached $565,000, up 12.5% from $502,000 a year ago.

Revenues for the Santa Ana-based mobile home manufacturer’s fiscal 1988 first quarter, which ended Sept. 30, reached nearly $20 million, a 38% increase from the $14.5 million reported for the first quarter of Silvercrest’s fiscal 1987.
