Driver Arrested After Boy, 12, Is Hit

A 12-year-old Stanton boy was in critical condition Wednesday night after he was struck by a hit-run driver, police said.
The boy, whose name was withheld by police, was struck while in a crosswalk at the intersection of Cedar Street and Katella Avenue in Stanton at about 6:10 p.m.
Arrested about a block from the accident was Osmin Rivera, 27, of Anaheim, who was booked on suspicion of felony hit-run driving.
