Special Tourists
Sharon Dirlam did a beautiful job of capturing the joy of traveling with people who have special needs (Oct. 4). We have received many calls in response to her article, from persons volunteering for staff work and several willing to contribute to our scholarship fund. All commented that they were moved by the article. Two other newspapers in other states so far have run the story as sent via wire services.
Our deepest appreciation to writer Dirlam for taking the time to research her story in such a way that she truly captured our purpose.
