West Hollywood : Montgomery Citizen of Year
The West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has named Francis J. Montgomery as citizen of the year.
Montgomery, 74, owner of a real estate management firm that operates the Sunset Plaza retail district, is scion of a family that was one of the first to develop the area that is now West Hollywood.
Others honored include Rick Brooks, a City Hall receptionist, who was named City Hall employee of the year; county sheriff’s Lt. Anthony Denis, named sheriff of the year; and Capt. Dale R. Parker, fireman of the year.
A posthumous community service award was announced for Murray L. Feldman, former executive director of the Pacific Design center, who died July 26.
