Beverly Hills investor Leonard M. Ross and his wife, Merri Jean, reported in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that they hold, for investment purposes, a 9.9% of the common stock of Financial Corp. of Santa Barbara, the parent of Santa Barbara Savings & Loan Assn. The investors said they amassed the holding in the Santa Barbara-based company from Sept. 2 to Oct. 26, paying from $4.50 to $8.75 a share.
