Western Security Bank Shows 3rd-Quarter Gain
Western Security Bank in Toluca Lake reported a sharp increase in profit for the third quarter that ended Sept. 30, to $103,023, or 24 cents a share, from $13,963, or three cents a share, a year earlier.
The single-office bank said net income for the first nine months of 1987 climbed 56% to $235,258, or 56 cents a share, from $150,340, or 35 cents a share, in the comparable 1986 period.
Western Security also said its assets totaled $51.1 million on Sept. 30, up 38% from $37 million a year ago.
