Odyssey Entertainment Ltd. is proposing to swap 17 shares of its own stock for each share of Heritage Entertainment Inc. that it does not own. Odyssey, an independent film producer, recently reported acquiring 7.1% of the smaller Heritage, also an independent movie maker. Both are based in the Los Angeles area. Odyssey did not estimate the value of the deal, but stock market prices indicated that it would be nearly $30 million. Odyssey changed its name recently from Odyssey Filmpartners Ltd.
