Local News in Brief : Fullerton : Woman Struck, Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver
A woman was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Tuesday night as she crossed a Fullerton street. The name of the victim, described as in her 60s, is being withheld until her family can be notified. According to Fullerton Police Lt. Dennis Bryerton, the woman was crossing Euclid Street near Williamson Avenue around 10:30 p.m. when she was struck. She was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. Police could find no eyewitnesses and have no suspect. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call Officer Kevin Scanlon at (714) 738-6813.
