Developer Offers to Change Walls for Home Buyers

Home buyers at Country Glen in Escondido, are responding to an unusual incentive by Summers Homes Inc., the developer of the 80-home community at 621 Stoneybrae Place.

“We’re offering to build out optional walls and some selected doors as part of the purchase price,” said Jennifer Locke, vice president of sales and marketing for the firm. “Thus far, Locke said, about half of the project’s buyers have opted to either build in an extra wall, or remove one of the planned walls.” Country Glen floor plans offer three and four bedrooms with two or 2 1/2 baths, in single- and two-story designs ranging in size from 1,400 to 1,800 square feet, priced from $129,500 to $183,500.
