David Treadwell kicked a 30-yard field goal with 32 seconds to play Saturday at Chapel Hill, N.C., giving No. 10 Clemson a 13-10 victory over North Carolina

“We got the ball on the 20 and were able to drive down there and give David a chance to win it for us,” Clemson Coach Danny Ford said. “He’s kicked a lot of them. He’s just a tremendous football player for us when the pressure is on, and he did a great job again.”

The victory improved the defending Atlantic Coast Conference champion Tigers to 8-1 and 5-1 in the conference and gave them at least a tie for the ACC title. They can win it outright next week at home if they can beat Maryland.
