Shoved Before Train, Subway Clerk Survives

NEW YORK —
A pregnant Transit Authority clerk was pushed onto the subway tracks Monday morning but managed to avoid being hit by crawling under the platform, a transit spokesman said.
He said that a man pushed her, apparently without provocation, and police made an arrest after speaking with a witness. The woman suffered cuts and bruises.
