Grant Awarted for Prosthetics Program
The prosthetics and orthotics program at California State University, Dominguez Hills, has received $194,296 in grants for the 1987-88 academic year from the U.S. Department of Education’s rehabilitation services administration. Program director Dr. Ira Schoenwald said the university, which received grants for the sixth straight year, was in competition with such institutions as UCLA and New York University, which have had programs far longer than Dominguez Hills.
