Two protesters were injured while being removed from train tracks at a Navy depot in Concord, a day after two Navy officers were reprimanded for their handling of an earlier protest in which a man lost his legs. The demonstrators said they were injured when their arms were yanked by Contra Costa County sheriff’s deputies removing them from the tracks at the Concord Naval Weapons Station. “There were a couple of them complaining that their arms hurt,” said Sheriff’s Lt. Dale Sandy. “They locked arms, sat down on the tracks and we had to drag them off.” No arrests were made. One of the injured men was treated for a broken wrist at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Martinez, a nursing supervisor said. The other was treated at Contra Costa County Hospital for a minor elbow fracture, hospital officials said.
