37 Drown as Bus Runs Off Road in Mexico

MEXICO CITY —
At least 37 people drowned today after a crowded commuter bus ran off a highway in dense fog and overturned in a sewage canal, police said.
A police spokesman said five survivors have been rescued from the bus and were flown in police helicopters to nearby hospitals. The spokesman said the bus had a capacity of about 60 people but was overcrowded when it crashed.
