String of Pictures

I always read Jerry Hulse’s articles for the sheer pleasure of how he strings words together to paint such vivid pictures. The first paragraph of his Nov. 1 “Winter in New England”--what a picture that touches my senses, sight, sound, smell, the warmth of the fire. It takes me back to the northern Minnesota/Canadian forest, to my hunting partner Scot’s cabin.
