Clippers Hit the Road, Take On Spurs Tonight
The Clippers will open a three-game trip tonight against the San Antonio Spurs at the Hemisfair Arena.
The Spurs won four of five games from the Clippers last season.
Rookie forward Joe Wolf, who sat out the Clippers’ 97-94 win over the Golden State Warriors last Friday with a sprained right ankle, is expected to play tonight. Swing man Mike Woodson, who didn’t practice Sunday because of a sore right knee, probably will play too.
The Clippers will play the Dallas Mavericks Wednesday night and end the trip Friday night against the Phoenix Suns. They will return home Saturday night to face the Denver Nuggets at the Sports Arena.
