18 Arrested, Linked to Drugs From Colombia

NEW YORK —
Eighteen people were arrested in connection with a multimillion-dollar international cocaine trafficking network linked to organized crime, authorities said Thursday.
The ring allegedly imported cocaine by plane in shipments varying from several hundred to thousands of kilograms from various Colombian drug organizations, according to an FBI complaint.
The defendants were arrested Wednesday night and Thursday. Authorities seized four kilograms of cocaine, 21 weapons and one car. Three suspects remained at large.
