Local News in Brief : Fire Guts Dylan’s Garage
A fire believed caused by spontaneous combustion of paint and chemicals gutted a garage at singer-songwriter Bob Dylan’s oceanfront home in Malibu Thursday night, causing $17,000 in damage.
Dylan’s home is located on a bluff overlooking the ocean in the Point Dume area. Sheriff’s Sgt. Kevin Mauch said the entertainer was not home at the time.
