Kiwanis Allocates Grants for Youth

The Hawthorne Kiwanis Club has allocated more than $6,000 for youth activities during the coming year, according to club President Bob Klein.

Recipients of an additional $22,000 will be announced soon. Organizations desiring Kiwanis assistance in their program must submit letters of request before October of each year, Klein said.
