5,000 Die in Iraq Crasher

BAGHDAD, Iraq —
More than 5,000 people were killed and 28,000 injured in traffic accidents in Iraq last year, the Central Statistics Board said Wednesday. The number of deaths in 1986 was up 13% over the previous year.
