Local News in Brief : Seal Beach : Open-Space Meeting to Target Developers
“Developer Dirty Tricks and the Cypress Experience” will be the topic of a meeting by the Seal Beach Preservation and Open Spaces Initiative Group (SPRING) planned for Monday at 7:30 p.m.
The meeting will be held in the Fidelity Federal building at 13820 Seal Beach Blvd.
Roger Geyer and Jack Swank, members of the Concerned Citizens of Cypress, will talk about their experiences in a battle with developers over an open-space measure on the city ballot in the Nov. 3 election.
Larry Peters of SPRING said the information about “developer dirty tricks” is important “to help prepare the citizens of Seal Beach for what we may well face when we fight the developers to preserve our environment.”
