Canada Offers Aid in Latin Peace Plan

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica —
Canadian Foreign Minister Joe Clark has offered his country’s assistance in verifying military aspects of the Central American peace plan, Costa Rican officials said Saturday.
Clark, on a two-day visit, signed an agreement with the San Jose government calling for increased trade between the two countries and more Canadian investment in Costa Rica.
