The UC Irvine has received a donation of $40,000 worth of computer equipment from Apple Computer of Cupertino. The gift, which includes five Macintosh II computers, printers and software, will be used by the university’s department of information and computer science. . . . Kierullf Electronics, a Cypress-based electronics distributor, has teamed up with Denver-based Compu-Tech Designs to provide design services to the semiconductor industry in the Denver area. Kierullf is a division of Ducommun, also based in Cypress.
