The UCLA women’s volleyball team has received a bid to the 1987 NCAA tournament and will play host to California Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the John Wooden Center. The Bruins, 27-9 and ranked fifth in the nation, will be making an 18th straight appearance in postseason play. The UCLA women won the national title in 1972, 1974, 1975 and 1984. Cal (18-14) is ranked 19th and has lost to UCLA three times this season.
