Top Executives at Disneyland Are Promoted

Disneyland announced several promotions Wednesday, including moves involving two executives who have been with the Anaheim amusement park since it opened in 1955.

Jack Lindquist, executive vice president-marketing and entertainment for Walt Disney Attractions, has been promoted to executive vice president-creative marketing concepts for Walt Disney Attractions, which oversees operations of Disneyland and Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla. Lindquist was Disneyland’s first advertising manager.

Ron Dominguez, who joined Disneyland as a ticket taker in 1955, has been promoted to executive vice president of Disneyland. He previously was vice president of Disneyland in 1974.

In addition, Bob McTyre has been promoted to vice president-marketing, entertainment and sales for Disneyland. He previously was director of marketing, entertainment and sales. Bob Phelps has been named vice president-costuming for Walt Disney Attractions. He previously was director of costuming. John Cora has been promoted to vice president-operations for Disneyland. Cora previously was director of theme park operations.
