Gorbachev’s U.S. Visit
Berezhkov’s incredible version of the history of Soviet-American relations deserves a Pulitzer Prize for fantasy. If the U.S. insists on keeping up its guard, it is a warmonger and an enemy of business!
In dealing with Gorbachev, Reagan will do well to keep in mind Will Rogers’ dictum: “Diplomacy is the art of saying ‘Nice doggie,’ until you can find a rock.”
