Assessing the Presidential Candidates

The Times has almost persuaded me to support Simon. Matthews’ intemperate attack on Simon clearly depicts this candidate as differing in a healthy way from the Reaganite clones who are competing for the Democratic nomination.
I see no point in supporting candidates who differ only in degree from the high-handed, armament-crazed, take-from-the-poor-and-give-to-the-rich crew now holding office. Simon appears to offer something different.
If we are to have a two-party system, lets have two parties, not just two versions of the same party.
