College Basketball : Alexander Leads SCC to Victory
Kevin Alexander scored 26 points and had 8 rebounds Tuesday night to lead Southern California College to a 91-76 victory over Christian Heritage in a men’s nonconference basketball game at SCC.
Dave Kirksey, who played at Cypress College last season, scored 30 points for Heritage, which led, 42-41, at halftime.
In women’s nonconference games:
Cal State Fullerton 67, University of San Diego 55--Center Amy Torczon led the Titans with 26 points at San Diego. Forward Wendy Anae added 10 for Fullerton (3-2).
Southern California 72, La Verne 58--Julie Aman had 20 rebounds and 8 points and Paula Hale had 24 points and 17 rebounds for SCC, which won at home.
