George Michael’s “Faith” looks like it could be the next No. 1 album on the Billboard magazine pop chart. The album is getting a strong boost from his single, “Faith,” which is still No. 1 on the pop chart. But Michael Jackson’s “Bad” could return to the top on the strength of his single, “The Way You Make Me Feel”--No. 11 and climbing rapidly. Bubbling under the Top 10: George Harrison’s “Cloud Nine” (No. 12), Dokken’s “Back for the Attack” (No. 13) and Stevie Wonder’s “Characters” (No. 17). Fast-rising albums: Madonna’s “You Can Dance” (No. 23) and Debbie Gibson’s “Out of the Blue” (No. 34). Whitney Houston’s “So Emotional” (No. 3) may be the next No. 1 pop single.

* A new candidate for No. 1 album is “Tiffany,” by teen sensation Tiffany. Her album jumped from No. 13 to No. 6. “Could’ve Been” (No. 24), the red-hot follow-up to her No. 1 single “I Think We’re Alone Now,” looks like it’ll easily make the Top 10. The album just crossed the 1-million-units-sold milestone.
