Brea police arrested two suspected drug dealers and confiscated a cache of cocaine and guns from the suspects’ home in Santa Ana in an action that ended a three-month undercover narcotics investigation, authorities said Thursday.

George Frank Macias, 28, was arrested in a convenience store parking lot in Santa Ana Wednesday night as he tried to flee in his car, police said.

Officers then went to Macias’ home at 1210 McLean Drive and arrested his roommate, Angel Lara, 25.

Authorities said they confiscated about three-quarters of a pound of cocaine, valued at $35,000 on the street, drug paraphernalia and five weapons, including a machine gun, a sniper rifle, a sawed-off shotgun and handguns.

The men were booked in County Jail on suspicion of possessing cocaine with intent to sell. Bail was set at $25,000 each.
