Borg-Warner Industrial Products Inc., Long Beach, has named John D. Hannesson vice president, general counsel and secretary of the newly private company. Formerly the Industrial Products subsidiary of Borg-Warner Corp., Borg-Warner Industrial Products became privately held in May.

The company manufactures centrifugal pumps, engineered seals and other fluid control devices for power, petroleum, defense/aerospace and general industry markets.

Previously, Hannesson was vice president, general counsel and secretary for the Dallas Corp., a Texas-based company.
