“Cookbook Caper,” a benefit sponsored by the Assistance League of Anaheim on Dec. 12, netted an estimated $1,000. Mrs. Donald Nepp was chairwoman.
A holiday cruise on Newport Bay, sponsored by the Angels of the City of Hope on Dec. 13, netted an estimated $1,500. David Musco and Esther Shoemaker were co-chairmen.
The “Happy Birthday Beethoven” party, sponsored by support groups of the Orange County Chamber Orchestra on Dec. 13, netted $2,000. Tuck Rabbitt as chairman.
“Images of Times Past,” a benefit staged by the Mother Goose Guild of Childrens Hospital of Orange County on Dec. 13, netted $20,000. Ellie Westenhaver was chairwoman.
A brunch staged Dec. 13 by the Gold Club, a support group of United Western Medical Centers, netted $7,000. Marianne Boyd and Mike Braun co-chaired the event.
