Senior forward Dora Dome scored 24 of her game-high 26 points in the first half Thursday night, and the UCLA women’s basketball team snapped a three-game losing streak with a 77-68 non-conference victory over BYU at Provo, Utah.
The Bruins (3-4), who never trailed, had a 46-33 edge in rebounding over the Cougars (1-6). It was the first time this year that UCLA had out-rebounded an opponent.
Freshman guard Rachelle Roulier added 15 points for the Bruins, who play at Illinois Sunday.
