Drunken Parishioners Kill Colombian Priest

BOGOTA, Colombia —
A Colombian village priest was stabbed to death in his church by two drunken parishioners after celebrating Christmas midnight Mass, police said.
The priest, Alfonso Urbano Garces, 54, was found dead in a pool of blood by parishioners who had come for the morning Mass in Totoro, Cauca province, 120 miles west of Bogota.
According to preliminary reports, the drunken men, who have been detained, had a row with the priest the previous evening.
