So Craig Stadler was disqualified for signing a wrong score card when, a day later, some TV viewers reported his illegal use of a towel, huh? The next time some jerk tries to tell me golf is a sport and that golfers are athletes, I’ll remind him of how golf is “refereed” on a 24-hour delay basis by couch potatoes, and how these fearless “athletes” kneel on towels so they won’t get their kneesies wet.
Golf a sport? Hogwash.
