Julian Man Arrested After Standoff Incident
A 22-year-old Julian man was in custody Wednesday night after a hostage situation during which the Sheriff’s Department Special Weapons Team was deployed.
Timothy La Lanne was arrested at his father’s house in Julian after he had taken his 6-week-old son along with several shotguns to the home after he and the woman he lives with got into an argument, a spokesman said.
La Lanne made many threats during the standoff but was persuaded to surrender peacefully after several hours, the spokesman said.
