Dueling Decibels

About Medieval Times, which Charles Solomon wrote Sunday, Nov. 8, in Calendar (“Courting Fun With Some Knights to Remember”). We considered the electronic sound to be more than “a little disorienting.” The decibel level was painful. Both music and announcements were at a deafening level.

Twice we asked for the sound to be lowered, but we were ignored. The show was spoiled for us because of the noisy sound system. The knights and horses were wonderful. We recommend to those who wish to see the show to wear earplugs so their hearing won’t be damaged.
