Canada Law Professor Accused of Slaying Wife

EDMONTON, Canada —
Maurice Jerry Sychuk, 47, a University of Alberta law professor, was charged Saturday with the murder of his wife, Claudia Sychuk, 44.
The couple’s son, Greg, 17, said he found his mother’s body in their Edmonton home early Friday when he returned from a New Year’s Eve party. She had been stabbed to death.
