Last week, the publicity staff of MCA Records sent out a three-page list of New Year’s resolutions made by the label’s roster of artists.
On the same page as Alice Cooper and ex-Eagle Timothy B. Schmit are San Diego’s own Beat Farmers. In 1988, Jerry Raney vows “to get rid of that embarrassing waxy yellow build-up on the floors”; Rolle Love hopes “to have more comfortable shoes”; Joey Harris promises “to drink more and get hit less”; and drummer “Country” Dick Montana resolves “to break more laws and get busted less.”
A sterling example for America’s youth, eh?
