Newborn Boy Abandoned in Vestibule of Church

CHICAGO — A newborn baby was abandoned in the vestibule of St. Ignatius Church, officials said. They said that a funeral director arriving to make arrangements for a service found the baby boy on Friday. The child was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.
