American Businessphones of Irvine has received a contract from Home Savings of America to install telephone systems in 126 branch offices in California, Illinois, Missouri, New York and Texas. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
American Businessphones said the contract is one of the company’s largest ever. As previously reported, American Businessphones is being acquired by Connecticut-based TIE/Communications. The Irvine firm’s shareholders are scheduled to vote on the merger in late March.
