Someone who bought a lotto ticket in San Jose is the winner of an estimated $23.4 million prize, a lottery official said today.

The unidentified winner also picked four of six numbers correctly on four other tickets in Wednesday night’s drawing for an additional $18,200 in prizes, said lottery spokesman John Schade. Schade said the winner, who bought the ticket at the Wine Rack in San Jose, has yet to come forward and claim the prizes. The grand prize is unofficially $23,470,239. Ticket sales of $20,435,553 were the second highest in the history of the twice-weekly “Lotto 6-49” and the highest for mid-week sales, Schade said. The winning numbers picked Wednesday night for the twice-weekly “Lotto 6-49” game were: 20, 41, 14, 10, 15, 34 and the bonus number, 22.
